Traveling outside the U.S. with your Village Bank debit card?
To help safeguard against unauthorized transactions, The Village Bank has blocked all debit card transactions generated from outside the United States. If your plans include travel out of the country, please call our Customer Care Center at (617) 969-4300, or visit one of our branches, so we can unblock your card, making sure it is available for your use while you are traveling.
“Available balance” information
In compliance with a recent Federal Regulations change to Regulation DD, effective January 1, 2010, your available Village Reserve line of credit will not appear as part of your “available balance” on ATM, Village Online Banking and The Village Line transactions. It will still be accessible, as always, but will no longer be shown as part of your available balance as it has been in the past.
